The temporary muteness of Zacharias gives hope to us over two thousand years later in that a little doubt will have consequences, but God will wipe away the doubt.
God was preparing Elizabeth to play a comforting, teaching role in Mary’s life to whom she was related.
We can trust God to be working in life now!
