"God took away my yesterdays and left me free from sin,
And in that land of Glory, He’ll never mention them.
In a land faraway they’ll always stay in a deep sea called forget,
God took away my yesterdays the moment that we met.” Merrit Ford
In Galatians 6:14 Paul teaches that he ,and we, must glory in the wonder of Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary, and in that glory we must not promote any personal ability to add to the purpose of the cross of Christ.
The cross is focal point or salvation and the doing away with the negatives of original sin, for in Adam all die, therefore God took all my yesterdays, the main one that I could do nothing to erase, the genetic sin of Adam. If the greatest is removed, then certainly also the lessor.
At Berean Baptist Church the ‘Preaching of the Cross is paramount. Our address is 6770 N Clinton Street and the AM service is 10:30. Visitors are Welcome!
