LLLV19-2-21-2019 Wilbur and Orville on The Greatest Fear?
My reading gave me a lesson I will hold dear as long as I walk the paths along my earthly journey.
At least one author believes and writes that man’s greatest fear is to have people laughing at his serious endeavors. He may be correct. But consider:
A pastor in the great state of Ohio did not make a large enough salary to live on, so he supplemented the meager wage by repairing bicycles. One day he laughed at his two small sons as they told him of their dream of one day making a heavier than air plane fly. The laughter hurt. I don’t know the depth of their pain. I do recall their names: Wilbur and Orville and a place called Kitty Hawk, N.C.
If you have an “impossible dream” why not give it a try. Your dream may come true, if not most people are having a tough time and a good laugh will do them good.
OK, I admit I have given many a laugh, so maybe there is a reward up yonder for me.
Mark 11:24 shares this remark from Jesus:
"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (NKJV).
