“If you think you have failed, you have!”
The late Zig Ziglar had a grand line that states this;
“You need a checkup from the neck up!”
Poor attitudes are probably more destructive to relationships, including marriage, than any other cause. This would include business, family, and church. Many a deal is lost due to poor attitude. Every consistently winning coach knows that no matter how talented the players, a pervading poor attitude will contribute to losing the game.
The same is true in life.
What we think and feel about God will have an impact on our attitude. One of our favorite songs at church is titled “A Child of The King.” The last stanza states:
A tent or a cottage, why should I care? Their building a palace for me over there. Tho’ exiled from home, yet still I may sing: All Glory to God, I’m a child of the King.
The song can change “stinkin thinkin” to a positive trusting Jesus attitude that communicates a mind of Christ outlook on events, places, people and things.
Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” (part a).
Paul makes this plain:
Philippians 2:5 “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,” the following verses define the kind of attitude!
