LLLV19 10-17-2019 We ARE Enriched by Others
Do you ever play, “Imagine?” If so, try this one from James Salter:
“How can we imagine what our lives should be without the illumination of the lives of others?” James Salter
Every person we meet, every book we read, every speech we hear, are having a positive or negative impact on the way we think, feel, and act. As I write, the faces of thousands of people are rushing past the stored memory of my mind, some with great feeling communicated to my heart.
And others? Well, use your imagination.
The positive enrichment, when recalled, is overwhelming. The negative is tempered by remembering Joseph who enriched me with his understanding of his brothers’ evil toward him:
Genesis 50:20 "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. (NKJV)
