A Short Time With Larry 2-10-2020
When I was but a child I recall hearing the phrase, “The Walls Have Ears.”
Here’s an example of the “wall” having ears:
Winston Churchill exemplified integrity and respect in the face of opposition. During his last year in office, he attended an official ceremony. Several rows behind him two gentlemen began whispering.
"That's Winston Churchill." "They say he is getting senile." "They say he should step aside and leave the running of the nation to more dynamic and capable men."
When the ceremony was over, Churchill turned to the men and said, "Gentlemen, they also say he is deaf!”
Many lives are ruined by whispering campaigns, organized by “trusted” friends. Life has very few secrets and are best kept to the one who has them!
Here’s Jesus on the subject:
“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.” Matt 12-36
Keep it to Yourself. Make Today Count.
