04-17-13 The Shadow of Terror or The Almighty?
In times such as the era in which we live, it is good to glance back and learn from earlier times just what is going on. That our current time is defined by the terrorist is obvious and glaringly so. Please give pause to a statement given years ago:
“Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future.” Adolf Hitler
History shines adequate light on the fact that the Free World knew what Hitler was up too and foolishly determined to use his vicious methods to further their own political ends.
They seriously underestimated the Maniac of the Fatherland. To borrow from Spurgeon, “Me thinks” the recent terrorization of the free world is permitted, even encouraged financially, by sick leaders who perceive terror as the Roman Paper Tiger, Hannibal. As Rome could have and eventually did, the current terror threat can and should be obliterated in around three days, but then who would we choose to be our enemy?
The true terrors, in our country especially, are the age old enemies of greed, selfishness and plain old fashioned idolatry.
Due to being “under His shadow abiding in safety Moses said in Psalms 91:5, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;...” When you run out from “under His shadow” and deny His existence, where then is there to abide?
