Luke 2:8-20 shares the account of Shepherds receiving the news of Christ’s birth while they worked and their rushing to see Him.
These workers were the first to get the word from Angels that Messiah was born, and they are the first recorded visitors to Jesus! They are also the first on record as testifying to the lost about Him.
The shepherds were considered the “deplorable’s” of that era. Yet God blessed them.
