A Short Time With Larry 4-29-2020 Discoveries
In 1847 Sir James Simpson, read the Bible and thought about sleep being used by God to perform the first surgery in history when He removed a rib from Adam.
The result was discovering how to use anesthesia which at the time was the most important in history.
When Doctor Simpson was asked; “What do you consider the most valuable discovery of your lifetime?
He answered: “My most valuable discovery was when I discovered myself a sinner and that Jesus Christ was my Savior.”
I say amen with Dr. Simpson, as would millions of my readers if I had millions of readers, but the few I do have at least murmur Amen.
When all is said and done, and we‘re nearing the chilly waters of Jordan, we begin to cherish Jesus and His work on our behalf at Calvary. Knowing we won’t have to cross Jordan alone is a comforting thought.
So, what is the best thing that has happened to you on your life journey?
