Oral Deckard, a friend of mine and helper in this ministry commented on Monday’s article:
“A lot of time and effort goes into researching "Leadership," and a lot of resources are devoted to training "Leadership" in the various schools of business. But this really encapsulates it. When you cut to the chase, and get past all the fad ideas and the Proven Techniques of the month, the core of good leadership really is this simple.
But the big problem is, how do they find it out, now that the Bible is the one banned book ?” Thanks Oral.
Back to the Bible was the call of an earlier generation and such a call would now have a positive impact on the world. Moses, the man of God was trained in the wisdom of Egypt including what we call arithmetic and perhaps a higher math. Thus, when he wrote this in Psalms 90:12, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” he was asking for the wisdom of precision in allotting time.
The wise use of time is often the difference between success and failure, having enough money left from what has been earned, and the successful building of marriage and family and our fellowship with the Lord Jesus. There is enough time if we learn the principles of using time wisely, saying no to many good things that are little more than wasters of time.
