Murmuring

A Short Time With Larry 3-23-2020 Murmuring

We, humans, are prone to murmur and complain. I used to complain about people complaining. One day I realized that the great leader, Moses, dealt with murmuring in a howling wilderness for Forty years!

College Professor, Don Talafous shares this gem concerning murmuring from the prayer of a murmurer:

"All we have on this earth are problems and a bunch of dummies who will never figure out how to solve them. Even I could make a better world than this one."

From deep within she heard:

"That's what you're supposed to do."

Stop and think: Would it make a difference if I spent as much time asking, "What can I do to make this situation better?"

Notice: The question is not, "what can THEY do, but what can I do?"

Many of the teachings of Jesus Christ and later the instruction in the Epistles deal with solving problems rather than idly complaining.
