LLLV19 10-14-2019 Light on Let Go and Let God
To overcome human “willfulness,” it is imperative that we walk closely with Jesus Christ. His plan for our life of service may be vastly different than the one we have decided.
For instance; The Apostle Paul. His preparation for a life of service to Jehovah was planned from a child, studied at the feet of Israel’s grandest teachers, and was a formidable foe of the upstart Christian wave flooding his field. He even participated in the murder of Stephen.
Then as he walked the road of service toward Damascus, everything changed. He met Jesus. Often God’s choice for us is 180 degrees from our plans. Joy and effectiveness lie within His choice.
Here’s a line to think about:
“We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned to have the life that is waiting for us.” Anonymous (Could have been Joshua).
