A Short Time With Larry 12-23-2020 God is The Puzzle Master
My third-grade teacher, Mrs. Davis, was a patriot par excellent. She was also a serious Christian, which I did not realize until later in life.
She assigned the task of memorizing and reciting with emphasis on The Night Before Christmas. When I had finished my recitation, Mrs. Davis said to me, Larry, “If only you would behave.”
Theoretically, on this day in the long-ago, Joseph and Mary were nearing the town of Bethlehem. In my mind, I try to visualize just what it was like. I don’t know if they knew that in a few hours, they would be the family to cement the little town of Bethlehem into the hearts of millions of people for two thousand years.
Life’s journey can often be cold and lonely, yet we are taught that God is moving pieces of life’s puzzle toward His plan.
Larry Lilly, make today count.
