Joseph: A Man of Patience.

A Short Time With Larry 12-2-2020 Joseph

Matt 1:18-19 begins the Nativity narrative with the courage and wisdom of Joseph. Mary’s pregnancy was a significant issue in heaven, in Mary’s heart, as she knew who and what she was in God’s sight. If she had any reservation about Joseph, it’s not mentioned anywhere in the narrative.

What is not said says a bundle. Before the Angelic visit, Joseph demonstrated a deep concern for Mary by thinking about keeping things quiet, just letting them pass away with a putting away of Mary.

Joseph’s attitude is agape love on display. The religious truth on display is abortion is not considered. Not once.
It’s good to pause and consider Joseph before the angel.

The rampant drum beat for abortion indicates serious heart problems.
This problem is NOT political, but a lack of spiritual concern. Every conception is a statistical miracle.

Larry Lilly. Make today count

Apologies for late, long night.
