The grand motivational speaker, former president of the Southern Baptist Convention Zig Ziglar said:
"The most important persuasion tool you can have in your arsenal is integrity."
Zig is a man of integrity. I heard him speak many times and read every one of his page turner books, noting that his speeches and writing exuded integrity. Program Chairmen around the country testify "When Ziglar says something, take it to the bank," the highest compliment given by Program Chairman. Ask one and they will tell you why.
When I saw the quote attributed to Mr. See You At The Top in one of Mac Anderson's pieces I went back over some thoughts on integrity. Webster notes: "b : an uncompromising adherence to a code of moral, artistic, or other values : utter sincerity, honesty, and candor : avoidance of deception, expediency, artificiality, or shallowness of any kind an example of great physical vigor, business integrity, and thrift."
Zig fits all of the above. Of course the question of the day is; do I? Do you?
KJV mentions integrity 16 times some others 17 or 19 but all in the Old Testament. Though the New does not use the word integrity permeates it. Integrity is the summation of character as Webster points out. As people of God we are denied wiggle room in matters of integrity.
Proverbs 20:7 "The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him."
