Jesus said in Luke 22: 28,
“But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials.”
Having friends that stick by when troubles come to you like a flood is tremendous. Here’s a quote from my book, Lasting Friendships in 30 Days:
“Did you ever take a real trip down inside the broken heart of a friend? To feel the sob of the soul, the raw crucible of emotional agony? To have this become almost as much yours as that of your soul crushed neighbor? Then, to sit alongside and silently weep? This is the beginning of compassion.” Jess Moody.
My comment was/is, Practice the secret of “being there” silently for your friends.
I have no advice on making friends, you may win them, but you never make them.
Being a true friend is biblical as Jesus pointed out, loyalty in times of trial is at the top of HIs list!
