Forty years ago a talked with a man who had lost everything. He said;
“Larry, I With all I have lost I cannot go on.”
I prayed with him.
Later, I came in contact with him and he is sitting on top of his world. I asked, how?
His answer set me to thinking, for I know how he felt initially, and I know how I felt going through a similar circumstance: His answer is so amazing that it’s simple”
“Larry, I recall stating, “With all I have lost, I can not go on.” I really believed that statement to be true.
One night while I was praying, actually more of whining to the Lord, I was impressed with an addendum to my first statement:”
“Here’s the whole of it: With all I had lost I could not go on. But I learned that night, I must go on with what I had.”
