A Short Time With Larry 1-13-2021 Trust According to George Washinton.
Coming from a “dark” background, I learned upon becoming a Christian that it’s as wise to practice a closeness of tongue among Christians as it was among a different breed of associates.
Here’s a statement from an eminent leader:
“Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence.” George Washington.
In an illicit relationship, the Judge, Samson, learned a bitter lesson. Fulfilling lust for a person is not a sign of trustworthy fidelity.
As a pastor, I have been learning that when the person says, “pastor, I must share this with about So & So, to interrupt with, “Was this told to you in confidence?” If yes, I reply, “Then I do not want to be part of you breaking the trust another has placed in you!”
