Four Kings Seek Jesus One a Tyrant.

A Short Time With Larry 12-17-2020 kings and Tyrants

The Nativity shares two kinds of people; the one seeks Jesus as Savior, the other to destroy Him.

The Wise Men sought the child to worship. They trusted biblical prophecy to ascertain the unusual star was the Star of Jacob mentioned in Numbers 24:17. They were instructed from Micah 5:2 for guidance to the place of Messiah’s birth.

They quoted the verse to King Herod, who should have known the site. Herod was an imposter to the Jewish faith and knew little of their culture.

Herod had no right to the title, King. The arrival of the Wise Men struck the fear of loss into his heart, and he wanted to kill the young child, the legitimate King of Kings.

This phase of the Nativity unveils three Wise Men and one fool.

How do you line up?
