The July/August Hillsdale College Imprimis carried this from Isaac Singer:
“When a day passes it is no longer there. What remains of it? Nothing more than a story. If stories weren’t written, man would be like the beasts, living only for the day. The whole world, all human life is one long story”
Hello, I’m Larry Lilly and here’s Moses on each life in Psalm 90:9-10:
Ps 90:9 For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; We finish our years like a sigh.
10 The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away. (NKJV)
If each life is short compared to eternity, we must learn to make each day count, as Moses stated in vs 10.
