Mary, the mother of Jesus, was one of the most, if not the most inwardly beautiful woman in all of history on earth. I take her inner beauty no farther than scripture permits. Mary’s acceptance of God’s mysterious will in choosing her is a floodlight into her soul.
The account on Mary’s participation in the Nativity is Luke 1:28-38, which shares her surrender to God’s Word, as explained by the Angel Gabriel.
