I have read much about life, ranging from life in general, to specific life, such as The Life of a Professional Softball Player, Life as the Husband of a Pastor’s Wife and The Life of the Father of a Pastor’s Children. With every kind of life imaginable it is hard to settle on just one. Every life is different, yet fundamentally the same.
I settled for being The Pastor/Husband of A True/Decided Blonde and have lived an interesting life for over 49 years. If you factor the intensity of my suffering, I have actually been married 383 years. Sort of like human/dog years.
The life experience of yours truly comes in handy occasionally, enabling me to serve others effectively due to the quilt-like gift of experience. Most really tough experience comes as a direct result of very poor judgment. So when I allude to my vast experience, I am really saying that over the course of my sojourn I have more often than not demonstrated poor judgment.
In spite of my tendency to poor judgment I should have learned, after being married to the same girl for the dog year equivalent of 383 years to take to heart the pure gold wisdom given from the pen of Robert Frost: “In three words I can sum up everything I know about life; it goes on.”
Job 5:7, “Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.”
