Christians are designated by Jesus Christ and reality to accomplish one primary task in our life.
Most of us fail to take the plan Jesus given to us seriously.
We write and sing songs about our duty, we pray and donate exorbitant amounts of time, and money with the assumption that we are rocking the world for Jesus. This of course is delusion.
All of the above is good and needs to be done. But no Christian is exempt from His witness.
The witness is to be carried by word, testifying that we believe in Christ and backing this word of faith with a life that glows with the spirit sealing and working in us from the inside out!
The urgency of His commission was expressed graphically by Missionary Amy Carmichael:
“We have all eternity to tell of the victories won for Christ, but we only have few hours before sunset to win them.”
