A Man Saved During Crucifixion!

A Short Time With Larry 11-9-2020 Repentant Thief

“Lord, Remember me When you come into your Kingdom.” Lk 23:42-43-

Before this plea, the man confessed his sin and the punishment as just. He also acknowledged Jesus the pure one and confessed Christ as Lord, the righteous King.

His “deathbed confession” often comes under criticism, yet many who make professions of faith, lack many of the comments of this crucified man. That Christ was satisfied with his confession is beyond critique as witnessed by Christ’s response:

“Today you will be with me in Paradise.”

No matter how severe the circumstance, Jesus Christ cares about our troubles, even if they are deserved, and will listen and respond to our cry.

As Children of God, we are invited in Hebrews 4:16,

“Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need.”
