A Short Time With Larry 12-15-2020 Innkeeper
“Because there was no room for them in the Inn.”
In fairness to the much-maligned Innkeeper, he had no clue about Jesus, and his business was full.
Given thought, Lk 2:7 gives pause to take a lingering look at the “Inn” of our heart and life.
Daniel told us that in latter times, Satan would “wear out the saints.” No one will argue with the point that modern Christians and others are busy beyond coping.
As all space is taken up with “busy,” we are engaging in “Fencing off partitions of life for things we deem important.” Paul warned in Eph. 4:27,
“Nor give place to the devil.”
Commentators use; “Neither fence off a part as private from God.”
The famous Innkeeper had no room for Christ.
How about you?
Your choice is to open or close your inner self to Jesus.
